The luxurious lifestyle of a Los Angeles lawyer and his family is about to be turned upside down by one of the most powerful mafia families in New York City.
Warrent, a corrupt, philandering New York senator, is playing dirty games with Hollywood lawyer, Breska. At stake is millions of dollars for a movie licensing deal. During negotiations, the lawyer is paid an unexpected visit from the mob. Breska is intimidated into swearing an oath of omertà — the mafia code of silence — and he unwillingly becomes the New York family’s consigliere. Fearing for his life, Warrent escapes to a Spanish island where a volcano is about to explode. 
The FBI and DEA are fast on the track of the criminal conspiracy and have well-founded suspicions about the connections with Mexican and Colombian narcos, which causes the mob to lose trust in their new consigliere. Returning from a trip to one of the tax havens where the mafia hides its money, Breska decides to go against the tide and breach the code of silence, trapped between the two government agencies, who hope to gather enough evidence to gain a conviction against the mob by a popular jury. 
It is the first time in Mafia culture that their consigliere wishes to breach the omertà.
